Captain Marvel 2 Updates: The Marvels, Marvel’s upcoming sequel to 2019’s Captain Marvel, is now in production. Ms. Marvel hits the screen on Disneyplus in late the year 2021 and the Marvels will premiere in theaters on the 11th of November 2022.

Brie Larson, the star validated that the production had begun in an interview with Sirius XM on Tuesday, but Jackson’s post offers the first glimpse of behind the scenes. The film merges Larson’s Carol Danvers with Monica Rambeau, played by Teyonah Parris.

They’ll also be joined by newcomer Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, who will first be introduced in the upcoming Disney+ series, Ms. Marvel is due later this year. Nia DaCosta has directed the film whose hotly anticipated Candyman (which also stars Parris) arrives on the 27th of August The script is from WandaVision with writer Megan McDonnell.
