No Time to Die: Spoilers, The Villain and Ending

No Time to Die Updates:  No time to die is a James Bond movie that is released on 30 September 2021. Daniel Craig returned as James Bond for the fifth time and he played the character on screen for the past fifteen years.

The 007 is undoubtedly one of the most interesting and very engaging characters ever to appear on the screen. But it is expected that Bond movies will not be new and unpredictable but No Time to Die tries to do that.

In a way Bond movies are enjoyable not because of the plot rather because of their pacing and their gadgets and No time to die is no exception to that.

Cast and Crew:

Daniel Craig appears as a bond for the final time in the movie in many ways he is the one who transitioned the bond movies from a nonrelevant very sketchy fantasy to somewhat relatable movies right from sky fall and casino royale but it is a bond movie nevertheless and No time to die is no exception in his list as it lives up to its expectations and delivers the classic bond moves in a very engaging and high octane thriller.

However, the cast is worthwhile speaking because, after 1989 License to Kill, all the main bond characters such as Q, Felix Leiter, Miss Moneypenny, and M appear in a single movie for the first time. The movie doesn’t have the usual cynical crime villain as the villain of the movie is more of a conflict than a character.

In the movie Bond fights himself and the choices that he made and going to make. Screenwriter Phoebe Waller-Bridge is only the second female screenwriter.

No Time to Die Review :

No Time to Die
BBC

The movie is not only a change in terms of the cast but also in terms of storytelling as it focuses more on serial storytelling as supposed the familiar standalone bond style of storytelling. The plot is quite refreshing from what we saw from the disastrous specter, it is not clear that the bond films will continue to be like this as daniel retires.

The characters are quite well written as you expect from a film of this scale and stunts were good and tries to be more realistic rather than what we have seen in the 80s and 90s.

In many ways, the movie felt more of a transition of the bond universe than a mere send-off to daniel which is very important considering that the Bond films are no longer the romance they were since the introduction of the series and universes such as Marvel, John Wick.

This reflects the industry’s change towards more serial and continuous storytelling and it is quite good in terms of creativity and business as it is very profitable and engaging if done correctly. This is my review of the movie, please watch and comment your thoughts. Thank You.
