Succession Season 3 Updates: The Roy family’s finally making a comeback on-screen as Succession Season 3 has announced its release date. As the exact date is not known, the next series of episodes of the HBO drama has been officially declared in October 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This news follows after Succession has launched its trailer for Season 3 on July 2021 which focuses on the battle lines being drawn which follows the previous season’s loose threads which are tied in this season.

The cast returning to this series are Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, and Kieran Culkin playing the patriarch role with their children Kendall, Shiv, and Roman, and also Nicholas Braun’s Cousin Greg and Matthew Macfadyen’s Tom.

They will be joined by other actors like Adrien Brody from Peaky Blinders playing the role of Josh Aaronson, Alexander Skarsgard from Big Little Lies as Lukas Matsson, Hope Davis as Sandy Furness as well as Sanaa Lathan, Linda Emond, Jihea, Dasha Nekrasova, and Ella Rumpf.

The executive producer of this series Georgia Pritchett recently talked about the series ending and also added that it would not go more than the fifth season.

She also talked to The Times that “I think the maximum would be five seasons, but possibly more like four.” She also added that we are at the peak of shooting the third season and at this point the showrunner Jesse Armstrong is saying that only one more.

The second season of Succession ended with Kendall Roy hitting a bombshell on his father’s kingdom alleging his father Logan Roy as “a malignant presence, a bully and a liar.” Roman Roy also got the post of COO of the company, while Cousin Greg drew his battle lines appearing with Kendall sending those ever-incriminating emails.
