Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to release in March 2022 and is currently in production. The movie is one of the most anticipated movies of Marvel Phase 4. The story will extend to the events at the end of Loki Season 1 and deal with the ever-expanding multiverse. The film will probably also tie up the events of WandaVision. Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is set to appear in the film.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness filming was affected by the pandemic. The filming was stopped earlier this year because of the surge in Covid cases in the UK. However, director Sam Raimi kept the movie on track despite the delays in filming. The film’s principal photography wrapped up in April of this year. There is still some work left for the film.

In a recent interview with Collider, actor Benedict Wong talked about the film and his experience working with Raimi. He praised Raimi’s work process as he gives his actors the freedom to improve in the scenes.

Wong says that he likes to improvise during scenes and Raimi likes them and they laugh at the improvised scenes. The actor added that the filming will wrap up in September.

Since most of the production has ended, it is safe to assume that Wong is referring to the reshoots. Reshoots generally have a negative connotation but it is a common thing for blockbuster films. It’s likely that Raimi is just putting some final touches on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The cast must just be getting back for some extra shooting which will wrap up in September.

It is not known what these reshoots are about but it is great to see Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness getting back on track after the delay. There isn’t much known about the characters involved in the film either.

However, what we do know is that the movie is going to be an important film in the MCU which will shape the course of future MCU movies. Hopefully, the final touches that Raimi is putting in the film are going to make the final product live up to the expectations.
