Emilia Clarke Talks About Her Terrifying Marvel Security For Her Secret Invasion Role

Published by

Emilia Clarke Updates: With Secret Invasion, Emilia Clarke makes her MCU debut, and she revealed how serious Marvel’s security staff is about keeping her role a secret.

Clarke, 34, rose to prominence as Daenerys Targaryen in HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones. Clarke has acted in popular films such as Me Before You and Solo: A Star Wars Story.

The upcoming Disney+ series is based on the Marvel comic book of the same name. It will be set at a time when the Skrulls, the shape-shifting aliens introduced.

During a surprise appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, Clarke confirmed her role in Secret Invasion. However, other than the title of the new series, the actress remained tight-lipped.

The Game of Thrones star quipped that she’s already “scared” of Marvel’s security squad and that she’s been followed since accepting the project.

Clarke must have been educated to keep secrets, according to Fallon, because Game of Thrones was known for its ability to keep spoilers at bay. The 34-year-old actress agreed but argued that Marvel’s security was on a whole different level. As a result, I’m at a loss for what to do “Added the actress.

While Clarke’s position in Secret Invasion is yet unknown, fans are already speculating. Some think that she may play a superhero, such as Jessica Drew, who takes on the mantle of Spider-Woman in the comics.

Clarke may possibly play Abigail Brand, the director of S.W.O.R.D. Clarke might also play Veranke, Queen of the Skrulls, according to another idea.

Marvel fans will likely get more clues about Clarke’s undisclosed role as Secret Invasion begins production. The franchise may be highly protective against spoilers, but it does want to tease the public to draw in viewers.

As Marvel continues to roll out Phase 4 of the MCU, Clarke’s casting adds star power into its roster of upcoming shows and films. Whether the actress will portray a hero or a villain, her entry into the MCU is definitely exciting news.
