Don Cheadle Updates: Don Cheadle is one of the versatile actors in the Hollywood industry. He has been with Marvel Studios since the release of Iron Man 2 and so far, he has been nominated 11 times for Emmy.

Unfortunately, he didn’t win any one of them. If we think he is tired of this! Then we are wrong. He whole-heartedly acknowledged his recent Emmy Nomination for a 90-second cameo in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series.

This Emmy Nomination for Cheadle proves that he can even transform a Cameo appearance into an award-winning role. Cheadle was very surprised like the rest of his fans.

He took this to Twitter, thanking his well-wishers, and apologized to his haters. He mentioned that he was bewildered about this nomination. However, he accepts what has been given to him and goes along with it.

Cheadle’s Emmy Nomination is being compared with Judi Dench’s Oscar win in 1999 for an eight-minute role in Shakespeare in Love.  Although Cheadle was very happy with the nomination, he didn’t boast about it on social media.

Cheadle is in Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man 2 and so far, he has been in 7 films. He started his journey in MCU with the role of Colonel James Rupert “Rhodey” aka War Machine who is also a friend of Iron Man (played by RDJ).

Cheadle in his 98-second cameo as Rhodey in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, speaks with Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson regarding the importance of taking Captain America’s Mantle. As they walk through the museum for ‘Captain America’, they exchange a significant conversation of a Black man taking up Captain America’s iconic shield.
