Grantchester Season 6 Episode 2 Review & Questions

Grantchester Season 6 Episode 2 Updates: In the gangsters series opener, Mrs. C is mourning the end of their holiday. The boys aren’t exactly sharing their landlady’s cheery demeanor after the events of episode one, though. This week, armed with photographs of the two men sharing a moment of affection, Bryan (Michael Abubakar) takes further action.

Expressing his message with a bible quote alluding to Leonard’s ‘crime’, Bryan sends a note demanding payment for his silence; leaving the village’s poor curate helpless.

Of course, there is a fresh new case to solve while this dilemma lingers. There is also one new exciting thing we get to know in this season, we learn that baby James is the son of young working-class man Davy – not the wealthy, older couple whose care he’s in.

Robson Green’s Geordie leads up to an adoption agency run by Joan Beaumont, who Will (Tom Brittney) believes is coercing vulnerable pregnant women into giving away their babies.

All About Grantchester Season 6 Episode 2

PBS

In the series Geordie is continuously trying to tell Will to stop looking out for problems that don’t exist, Joan is found dead. She oversaw the adoption in question, so are either set of parents involved?

Like every other series, there’s a twist in the tale as a surprising link is found between the deceased and a young woman – and this is where the mystery unravels. Producer Richard Cookson previously said: “Leonard’s homosexuality is placed on trial – literally – when his private life is exposed.”

In this season, Geordie’s faith in the law will surely be tested. Will he be able to arrest his friend next week? If our guesses are right, then Will might struggle between truth and loyalty, while Cathy(Kacey Ainsworth) will work into activism and Mrs. C might grow conflict over the situation.

Season 6 has not left viewers with many unanswered questions full stop fans are looking forward to what is there in stock for the longest-running character Leonard. Will he be saved in the upcoming seasons of the series.

Grantchester series 6 will be available on ITV till Friday 17 September.
