Hunter’s Arena: Legends Will Be Free For PS Plus Members In August

Hunter’s Arena: Legends Updates: The latest State of Play presented a closer look at Hunter’s Arena: Legends, a PvP online title that will be made free for PS Plus members in August.

During the most recent State of Play broadcast, PlayStation presented another look at Hunter’s Arena: Legends, a PvP and PvE experience that PlayStation Plus members will be able to enjoy for free from August 3 through September 6. Hunter’s Arena: Legends was first launched on PS via Steam Early Access in July 2020.

The combat-focused battle royale title drops players into an Asian setting where they must survive amidst the constant war between Demons and Hunters. Players will naturally assume the role of Hunters and they must fight demonic forces at every turn.

The in-game threats are surely going to prove a difficulty for the players but so will other players. However, the Hunters will possess a huge amount of special combat abilities which will require them to have perfect timing and a good grasp of the overall skillset. This and much more were showcased at the latest State of Play stream by the game’s developer Mantis.

The State of Play stream presented a brief gameplay preview for Hunter’s Arena: Legends on PS5. The stream first featured a Hunter vs Demon gameplay and later a quick look at the player vs player combat. It also featured goofy customization options.

The Mantis representative who was narrating the video gave away that players will get two battle royale modes to choose from- solo and trio. In the solo mode, the players are allowed to fend for themselves in a 30-player free-for-all game. While in trio mode, the players team up in groups of three. PlayStation is making the game free for PS4 and PS5 users from August 3 to September 6.

Hunter’s Arena: Legends seems like a good addition to the PlayStation games. However, it is coming out in August and July is just starting. PlayStation’s plans for the rest of August were not mentioned in the State of Play stream.

PS Plus has a good lineup for the month of July as well. 2018’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is free for the users of PS Plus in the month of June, along with the critically panned WWE 2K Battlegrounds and the upgraded PS5 version of A Plague Tale: Innocence. Each of these titles will be free for the month of July through August 2. You can play the game on Steam Early Access or when it becomes available in PS4 and PS5 on August 3.
