Destiny 2 New Weapons Updates and Much More

Destiny 2 Updates: Bungie has revealed modifications to Destiny 2 weapons, nerfing both the Dead Man’s Tale and Sleeper Simulant firearms in response to public input.
Bungie is nerfing both the Dead Man’s Tale and Sleeper Simulant weaponry in the upcoming 3.2.1 Update to Destiny 2. The update will be a “bigger than typical mid-season sandbox upgrade,” with a few required fixes and changes to re-balance the action MMO. It will also include the Destiny Vault of Glass Master difficulty, which will present new difficulties to even the most seasoned Destiny aficionados. All players, regardless of Power level, will be able to access the new Master difficulty.
Since its first release in 2017, Destiny 2 has been gradually evolving and improving. The game receives regular updates with each new season of material, incorporating user feedback and introducing new twists and turns to both the plot and the gameplay.
The current season of Destiny 2 has delivered an engrossing plot, as the Endless Night cranked up the action and the tower became completely dark at the end of June. Season 14 of Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer began on May 11 and will conclude on August 24.
Even though it is mid-season, Bungie is implementing some significant improvements with Update 3.2.1, which will be released on July 6. According to the Bungie website, the update was originally scheduled for Season 15, but it has been pushed forward due to some unbalanced weapons.
These include the unusual Dead Man’s Tale and Sleeper Simulant, both of which have received harsh criticism from gamers. Dead Man’s Tale is regarded as a very powerful weapon when used with a mouse and keyboard, but it is substantially less lethal when used with a controller. :

Destiny 2 New Weapons

GamesRadar”Dead Man’s Tale dominates on mouse and keyboard, receives frequent critical feedback from Crucible players, and is strong but not overpowering on the controller. We’re preserving the fast-firing in the hip, which we believe is important for the weapon’s feel, but with this update, it won’t have ADS levels of damage falloff while hip-firing and will be vulnerable to falloff much closer. It will also necessitate improved aim to land hits while hip-firing. We’re only minimally touching on ease of use in this change, with the intention of not making it more difficult to use on the controller.”
Nerfs to Dead Man’s Tale include the removal of the hip-fire damage falloff scalar “(was 1.8x to match zoom)” and the reduction of the Aim Assist cone angle hip scalar from 1.5 to 1.2. Bungie had this to say about Sleeper Simulant:
When we modified Linear Fusion Rifles (LFR), we didn’t give Sleeper Simulant any specific tuning, but because it has significantly more body damage than other LFRs, it didn’t benefit as much as planned from the general bump to accuracy damage scalar. Sleeper will now be the clear victor for single-shot LFR damage, will edge out other LFRs for burst damage, and will roughly match others for total damage for reserves. It’s also worth noting that Sleeper has a far smaller penalty for hitting the body rather than the head, providing it an advantage in real-world damage.”
Sleeper Simulant nerfs will address a problem in which the weapon was “benefiting less than other LFRs from the Season of the Splicer LFR precision damage enhancement.” The total benefit will now be 16.5 percent, as opposed to the 15 percent buff of previous LFRs.
Despite datamining controversies, Destiny 2 gamers have had a busy few weeks, and the upcoming new difficulty setting is poised to make things much more intriguing. When you log in when the new update goes live, you’ll see a new Master difficulty choice for Vault of Glass. To attempt their Master run, players and their fireteam will not need to reach a minimum Power threshold, though Bungie warns that adversaries will have 1350 Power. With that in mind, it’s worth taking the time to properly prepare before jumping in. Completing Vault of Glass Challenges on Master difficulty will award players with the new Time lost weapons, with a new one to seek for each week of the event.
The new update will also herald the beginning of Solstice of Heroes. The celebration event allows players to win additional swag, such as Universal Ornament Bundles, which “shine brightly with glows that reflect your equipped subclass.” Because of Eva Levante’s return, new armor for Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks will also be available.
The Solstice of Heroes is a free event for all gamers that takes place from July 6 to August 3. Season 15 is expected to be just as action-packed as its predecessor. Destiny 2 has hired Resident Evil producer Peter Fabiano, implying that the MMO’s fortunes are only going to improve.
