Doctor Strange 2 Updates: Tilda Swinton, who represents The Aged One in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is happy Marvel Studios President and Marvel Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige regret veneering the personality.

Doctor Strange co-writer C. Robert Cargill earlier indicated the character’s Tibetan roots, which could’ve stopped the movie from screening in China, as a role of the idea why they were developed for the MCU. Cargill later simplified he hadn’t been connected in The Ancient One’s casting conversation and process.

Following the character’s demise in Doctor Strange, Swinton concisely reprised The Ancient One while a pivotal scene in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. But, she is not presumed to appear in the sequence Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which wrapped shooting in mid-April.
