Black Panther 2: Okoye and Shuri New Costume Revealed

Black Panther 2 Updates: New outfits for Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Shuri (Letitia Wright) have been seen in photos from the set of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. To respect Chadwick Boseman and T’Challa, the script for Ryan Coogler’s MCU film had to be rewritten.
But now that principal filming has begun, unauthorized photos have surfaced online, offering fans a sneak peek at the sequel.
After the critical and box office financial success of the first Black Panther in 2018, it seemed a foregone conclusion that Marvel Studios would release a sequel with the same creative team.
Unfortunately, owing to the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman, who portrays the eponymous role in the film, the original plan for the blockbuster had to be altered not just to commemorate his memory but also to replace him.
At this moment, not much is known about the plot of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but a few pieces of evidence suggest that the movie will involve a Wakanda vs. Atlantis conflict, with Tenoch Huerta as Namor the Submariner.
Meanwhile, MCU architect Kevin Feige has already stated that Ironheart (Dominique Thorne) will initially appear in the sequel before starring in her own Disney+ series.

Black Panther 2: New Costumes

Surprisingly, little is known about the main characters in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, with the spotlight primarily on newcomers. Now, however, a new set photo from TMZ (via Black Panther: Wakanda Forever News) shows Okoye and Shuri in their new outfits.
The snapshot was taken on set at the MIT campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where the film is presently being shot. The actresses wear dark cloaks to conceal their costumes at first, but as the cameras prepare to film, they remove them.
T’Challa picks Shuri to lead Wakanda’s outreach program’s science and technology section at the end of Black Panther. That might lead to Ironheart, who attends the exclusive school, being recruited by the Wakandan Princess.
In terms of Okoye and Shuri’s attire, it’s likely that this is their non-traditional attire. However, it’s worth noting that Okoye continues to dress in Dora Milaje colors to represent the squad. She wore a red evening gown for the Busan sequence in Black Panther, so this maintains the trend.
Because the ladies are dressed in civilian clothes in these new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever photos, it’s likely that they’ll be sporting new Wakandan outfits throughout the film.
