He is an important actor in Spain and got famous in the Netflix crime-based series and his character Sergio Marquina i.e. The Professor became a fan-favorite.
While the news of his cancer treatment shocked the audiences, fans will be happy that the actor is healthier than before and will be available on-screen with new projects.

The actor was diagnosed with a cancer tumor on his left leg in 2011 and Morte was open about his disease in the past. In an interview in The Observer, he tells, ‘I remember the doctor with a white coat and the stethoscope to come and tell me without anesthesia’. The doctor said, ‘Look, this is happening to you and you have plenty of time to live.’
The actor informs that he declined to think about his tumor as a poison that will take away his life. He also disclosed that when his thoughts troubled him about having rare chances of survival he changed his mindset.
The actor Morte will be returning to the on-screen after the declaration of the fifth and final season of Money Heist. Watching this series without this actor would be impossible as it has become a fan-favorite character, Sergio Marquina. After the filming was done, this actor posted photos of behind the scenes of his cast with a caption: “What a team. A dream team!
After this series will come to an end, Morte will be seen in the next Amazon Prime show The Wheel of Time which will be opposite Rosamund Spike and as well as the Spanish miniseries Boundless.
