Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis don’t bathe their kids daily

Published by

Ashton Kutcher Updates: Every day, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis express their love for their children. Bathing with soap and water, on the other hand? This is a little common.
“I was not the type of mother to bathe her children. “Never,” Kunis said recently in a Dax Shepard podcast, “The Chair of the Chairs.”
“Here’s the thing,” said Kutcher, “clean up if you see the dirt in it.” Otherwise, it is useless.
Children 6 to 11 years of age should bathe at least once a week, according to the American Academy of Dermatology Association. Daily showering should begin when puberty arrives. Wyatt, Kutcher and Kunis’ daughter, are six years old, and their son, Dimitri, is four.
Shepard, who has two children with Kristen Bell, Lincoln, 8, and Delta, 6, pointed out that too much soap and water could interfere with body fat.
Drs. Adam Friedman, a professor of dermatology at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences, agrees.
Friedman told TODAY Parents, “Water is probably the number 1 irritant in the world because it clears the natural ingredients that make our skin nutritious.”
This is why it is important to use a moisturizer as soon as you get out of the bath.

“The oil retains moisture, keeps the skin soft and supple, and protects against irritants, dirt, germs, and even the slightest sun,” notes Friedman. “In terms of protection, our skin is amazing. But if it dries it becomes a problem. ”
When it comes to soap, Friedman recommends using it sparingly and choosing options for sensitive skin or eczema that will not change the natural pH of the skin.
Unless your child has eczema or atopic dermatitis, there is no need to wash them after swimming in a pool of chlorine.
“I would say that bathing underwater is also dangerous because there are tiny particles that can get into the skin and cause damage,” Friedman said.
Adults should apply the same rule, but pay more attention to armpits and moans, according to Friedman. That torch is over.
“I wash my armpits and armpits every day and nothing else,” the actor told Shepard.
