Castlevania Season 5 Updates: Castlevania Season 4 breaths of air on May 13, which is considered to be the end of the series as Trevor Belmont’s battle against Count Dracula and his minions will be over. Castlevania was Netflix’s first original anime series and it grew to be one of the most popular shows on the platform.
Netflix has confirmed that the show won’t be returning to the platform after Season 4 and that they are considering a Spinoff with an entirely new cast of characters. Netflix has revealed that such a decision has been taken because of the creator being alleged of sexual misconduct in 2020.
The producer of the show teased the spinoff by saying that the finale is a proper beginning for something that the fans should be excited about.
There were reports back in April that even if Castlevania is ending, the story of the show will be continued by a different set of characters. Nellie Andreeva said,
“I hear Netflix is eyeing a new series set in the same Castlevania universe with an entirely new cast of characters,”.

In the light of rumors, the producer and his team said that there is not much to say right now but they are looking to continue the series with a different set of characters and stories. The producer also said that the creative team will be different.
Netflix or the producers have not officially given any reason on why the show is ending but as of now, we can guess that this might be due to the creator facing allegations of sexual misconduct in the year 2020.
When Ellis was finishing the scripts for the last season, many women came forward on Twitter with multiple allegations that they have been victims of sexual harassment by Ellis.
To date, more than 60 women have made these allegations on a website that was created for this purpose. They alleged that Ellis pursued numerous sexual relationships with his female fans, with several dating back to 1999. He would allegedly lie about his relationship status, and threaten “major career consequences” if they didn’t continue sexual relationships with him.
