Why Tom Holland Isn’t Returning As Spider-Man In What If…?

Tom Holland Updates: Marvel’s ‘What If…?’ Directed by Bryan Andrews is the first animated series produced by Marvel Studios. It will be a science-fiction superhero series with 10 episodes. But Tom Holland won’t be returning for this series.
Tom appeared first in Captain America: Civil War from there he has made multiple appearances in many Marvel movies. Other Marvel movies include a solo appearance in two Spider-Man films, Avengers: Endgame.
Many MCU characters will be returning for ‘What If..?’ which include Robert Downey Jr as Iron man, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, and Chris Evans as Captain America. Holland is not present in this list which means he won’t be returning in this series.
Recently, many conflicts between MCU and stars occurred of which Scarlett Johansson against MCU for the simultaneous release of “Black Widow” both in theatre and Disney + have been the hot news. Scarlett has filed a lawsuit against Disney because her salary depends on the box-office collection of “Black Widow”. Due to the simultaneous release, it didn’t reach as expected.

What Tom Holland has to say about his Return?

However, for Holland, one for Spiderman film is remaining for him, which may be the reason why he won’t be a part of ‘What if…?’. WE can expect that he will be returning to other MCU films.
His character as Spider-Man has been portrayed really well,l so his fans are anxiously waiting for his return.
“What if…?” penned by AC Bradley in which all other superheroes come into play. Fans have high expectations. The series will be streaming on Disney+ and can watch the official trailer on YouTube.
The animator of the series is Stephan Franck and will be a 10 episode series. The series is scheduled for release on 11 August 2021.
