Dave Bautista Updates: Scarlett Johansson has filed a lawsuit against the Walt Disney Company, which owns Marvel for releasing “Black Widow” simultaneously in both Theater and in Disney +. The theater release was important because her salary will depend on the box office collection of the movie. She also argued that the simultaneous release has affected the box office collection in theaters. The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday in the Los Angeles Supreme Court.

The Wall street journal reported, “Disney intentionally induced Marvel’s breach of the agreement, without justification, in order to prevent Ms. Johansson from realizing the full benefit of her bargain with Marvel.”
While Disney has also reacted stated that, “There is no merit whatsoever to this filing. The lawsuit is especially sad and distressing in its callous disregard for the horrific and prolonged global effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
Scarlett Johansson played a leading role in “Black Widow”. She portrayed Natasha Romanoff in the movie and did an excellent job. She has done well in all Marvel movies from Iron Man 2 released in 2010.
