John Cena Is Ready To Fight Dwayne Johnson In A DCEU Movie

John Cena Updates: Suicide Squad’s John Cena says he’s ready to fight Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. It will appear in a film from the DC Extended Universe. With The Suicide Squad, writer/director James Gunn, best known for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, will introduce a new group of misfits to the DCEU on August 6th.

Recruits to Task Force X are warmly welcomed by the Suicide Squad. Peacemaker, starring John Cena as the “douchey Captain America,” is a sequel and conceptual reboot of the 2016 film.

According to various advertising materials, the peacemaker doesn’t care how many “men, women, or children” he needs to murder for the cause of peace, justice, and the American way. Cena has been seen sporting his attire all around town.

Gunn is directing a prequel/spinoff series for Peacemaker, which will premiere on HBO Max in early 2022. Despite Gunn’s ignorance of The Suicide Squad’s significance in the DCEU, it looks that Warner Bros. is positioning Peacemaker as part of the larger, though uneven DCEU.

In the DCEU, John Cena indicated that a confrontation between his Peacemaker and Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam is inescapable. Cena showed interest in battling his old comrade on-screen in the future, although recognizing that his character has no chance against Black Adam.

The Peacemaker was finished by John Cena, while Black Adam was completed by Dwayne Johnson earlier this month. Cena portrays Dominic Toretto’s (Vin Diesel) long-lost brother in F9: The Fast and Furious Saga.

Johnson aided in the revitalization of a franchise that has since been abandoned. Johnson was linked to the character of Teth-Adam/Black Adam long before Cena ever put a toilet seat on his head. One of DC’s most powerful heroes is Black Adam. Shazam, the ancient wizard, bestowed talents on him as an Egyptian slave.

At originally, Johnson’s character was supposed to appear in Shazam! However, he will appear in the original film. It is scheduled for release in 2022.

The origin story of the Peacemaker’s titular character will also be explored. Given Gunn’s previous statements regarding The Suicide Squad’s death toll, Cena’s remarks bode well for his character’s survival. Given the fact that Cena and Johnson’s careers appear to be converging, Peacemaker and Black Adam might (briefly) collide.

The former is peaceful, whereas the latter has a history of oppression. On the other hand, both characters kill at will. Black Adam’s antics will lead to a showdown with the Justice Society of America and, presumably, the start of a new chapter for the DCEU, whether or not his film is part of the SnyderVerse.
