Red Dead Online Can Be Played Without PlayStation Plus For 2 Weeks

Red Dead Online Updates: For a limited time, PlayStation gamers can play Red Dead Online without needing a PlayStation Plus subscription.

For the next two weeks, PlayStation players will not be required to have a PlayStation Plus membership to play. This promotion from Rockstar Games arrives just in time for the release of Red Dead Online: Blood Money, a July 13 update that included new crime work encompassing shakedowns, robberies, and a variety of new activities.

Blood Money, first significant update in months, is a pleasant change of pace. Players are tasked with meeting Guido Martelli, an underboss to Saint-Denis crime lord Angelo Bronte, in the latest set of content. Martelli’s objectives appear in the form of Crimes and Opportunities, all of which revolve around the mafia boss’ pursuit of the Bronte family’s valuable Capitale properties.

In addition to following the Capitale trial, players can engage in wicked actions around the countryside, such as attacking weak Camps and plundering Homesteads that may contain fort valuables. For a limited time, everyone can enjoy everything Red Dead Online: Blood Money has to offer.

A recent Rockstar Newswire piece covers everything fans should expect when they start playing the Blood Money update. It also mentions that until Monday, July 26th, PlayStation gamers can play without a PlayStation Plus subscription.

Those who wish to take advantage of the limited-time offer will, of course, need to own, either through Red Dead Redemption 2 or the standalone version of the multiplayer suite. At the time of writing, there is no similar advantage available to Xbox players.

As previously stated, this PlayStation Plus-related deal has restrictions because users must already have access to Red Dead Online. Those who possess the experience and have let their subscription lapse can, however, try the Blood Money material for the next two weeks.

Owners of the PS4 and PS5 who are still enrolled in PlayStation Plus have a few extra goodies to look forward to this month. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds are among the free titles available to PS4 and PS5 customers in July 2021. In the meanwhile, players with newer hardware can download the PS5 version of A Plague Tale: Innocence, which has DualSense features, 3D audio support, and 4K/60fps gaming choices.
