Chrissy Teigen Speaks About Being a Member of the ‘Cancel Club’ Following Bullying Controversy

Chrissy Teigen Updates: Chrissy Teigen recently turned to social media to express her displeasure with being a member of the “Cancel Club” following her highly publicized bullying scandal. In a new Instagram post, the cookbook author shared a snapshot of her legs while lying on a couch and said that she doesn’t “really know what to say” right now. Teigen continued, “It just feels so strange to pretend nothing happened in this online realm yet feel like absolutes— in real life.”

The model went on to say: “Going outside stinks and doesn’t feel right and being at home alone with my thoughts causes my melancholy mind to speed. I’m feeling disoriented and need to rediscover my bearings. I need to snap out of this; I urgently want to talk to you instead of pretending everything is fine. I’m not used to doing things any other way!!”

“Only a handful comprehend it, and you won’t know until you’re in it,” Teigen wrote. “And it’s difficult to talk about it in that way because you plainly seem whiny when you’ve definitely done something wrong. It’s really awful. There is no way to win. But there is never any here.”

“All I know is that I love you guys, that I miss you guys, and that I just wanted an honest moment with you because I’m just…tired of being sick with myself all day,” Teigen explained. “I’m not sure whether it’s even appropriate to say any of this because it’ll be viciously dissected, but I dunno. I can’t keep doing this silent s— any longer!”

Back in May, reality TV actress Courtney Stodden accused Teigen of online bullying, citing public tweets the model had sent Stodden many years before. Stodden, who was a teen at the time of the bullying, claimed Teigen also sent hateful comments through private channels.

Following the allegations, others came forward to claim Teigen had also bullied them online. The Lip Sync Battle co-host has since apologized numerous times, though many of those who believe she bullied them claim she never sought out to them directly to make peace.
