Why Paul Bettany Agrees With MCU Secrecy Even Though It’s Frustrating

Paul Bettany Updates: Marvel is one of the most successful movie franchises in the world releasing back-to-back blockbuster movies and they have no intention of slowing down. With so much going on all at once and thousands of people working on them, there is a huge risk of unplanned spoilers and little titbit clips of the ongoing projects being exposed to the public.

This is exactly the reason Marvel is known for being a disciplinarian and make it mandatory for their actors and crew members to follow a strict code of procedure, while many actors find this irritating and unnecessary, Paul Bettany thinks otherwise.

Paul has been a part of the Marvel family since the beginning as the voice for J.A.R.V.I.S, Iron man’s personal AI assistant. Paul has since proceeded to become Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron a synthesized humanlike robot with the capability of artificial intelligence and wielder of an Infinity stone, well that’s some proper character development right there going from a voice to one of the strongest Avengers.

He later even got his own series alongside his love interest the Scarlet Witch in Wanda-Vision which took place weeks after the events of Endgame leaving fans perplexed as Vision was shown to be killed by Thanos.

It was later shown that all this was happening inside Wanda’s Hex Westview. Coming back to the topic at hand, Bettany seems to have no problem with the over-the-top security protocols and shared that his father was an actor and his mother a singer and they both knew the importance of keeping their acts a secret.

Probably Wanda Vision worked so well because of this tactic as the mystery of the series remained intact. It isn’t as if Paul doesn’t feel burdened by this arrangement but the end result is always so spectacular that the means don’t matter as much to Bettany, ever since Iron Man this tactic has worked wonders for the movies.

Even though frustrating at first the pros outweigh the cons a long way, think about it, a small spoiler can take away the whole anticipation of the production and Bettany understands just that.
