Wolverine Whenever we see a movie what entices us most is of course the story and plot but also the physique of the actors, the way they look and most of us aspire to get in that kind of shape.

These actors put in a lot of effort and hard work and have the best of equipment and nutrition helping them look and feel ready to take on the role of their respective characters. As the shoot of the film is wrapped, they try and return to a more neutral physique to make it easier to get into a different physique for another role.

Want to look like Wolverine? Do this.

Many celebrities even post their transformation videos and workouts to motivate us and motivated we get, many even join the gym and go all out every day on every set but is that really the most optimal way? Hugh Jackman doesn’t seem to think so. We all know the Australian actor takes his roles very seriously and the same goes for the Wolverine movie where the actor was seen flaunting an incredibly ripped physique.

If you consider his age that achieving that body shape is a great feat and when asked about the actor’s workout secrets he said he has a mantra he swears by ‘Always start your sets by lifting light weights. “That’s it?”  you may ask, apparently so but the science behind it is that by lifting light weights that specific muscle group gets warmed up, and by the second or third set you yourself are rearing and ready to lift heavyweights.

This technique helps prevent injury and also corrects your form while performing the exercise with heavyweights. To shake things up Jackman’s trainer Bryan Goldberg brought in an all-natural bodybuilder during their workouts as a reference guide for the actor and the actor was taken aback when he started his sets with very light weights.

“I assumed that to be in his shape, you have to just smash it. He starts super light on everything and builds up like it’s fun,” said Jackman. This is a very well-known bodybuilding technique called progressive overload and it has clearly worked wonders on Jackman. Well, there you have it a great way to get into Wolverine type shape.
