Ryan Reynolds Updates: Ryan Reynolds has recently revealed several new behind-the-scenes images from his latest trailer from his upcoming movie Free Guy. Reynolds was seen in his Deadpool Suit again for the trailer.
Ryan Reynolds got back in his Deadpool Suit after years, for the latest trailer of his upcoming movie Free Guy. The last time Reynolds adorned the Deadpool suit was in 2018’s Deadpool 2. Since then there has been a lot of developments including the character now being officially under Marvel Studios and Deadpool 3 currently in the works.
Meanwhile, the actor has been busy with other projects. It includes his upcoming movie Free Guy, where he will be seen reuniting with Taika Watiti. Ryan Reynolds and Taika Watiti were last seen together in the film Green Lantern which failed massively at the Box office.
In Free Guy, Reynolds will play the titular role of Guy while Taika Watiti will play the narrative’s main villain, Antoine. The pair got together in the latest trailer for the film in which they dressed up in their respective Marvel costumes- Reynolds in his Deadpool suit and Watiti as Korg, the rock-creature from Thor Ragnarok. In the trailer, they both are seen together pretending to react to the promo clip.

ScreenRantReynolds remains masked for the entire video which makes one wonder if it was truly him behind the mask. But the latest Instagram stories posted by Reynolds sees him in the Deadpool Suit. In the Instagram stories, he also joked about stealing the suit before realizing that Disney now owns Deadpool.
In June, Reynolds had posted an image of Deadpool’s mask on his social media. It could have been during the filming of the trailer with Taika Watiti. The actor could have used a body double to shoot the promo as he was masked the entire time, but it seems that Reynolds did not want to miss out on the fun.
This latest promo is not Marvel canon so it means that it is not Reynolds’ first outing as Deadpool in the MCU. The promo was purely made for Free Guy.
Marvel Studios is packed until 2023, therefore, it is difficult to say when Deadpool 3 will find a release slot. However, the narrative for the threequel is at works. Meanwhile, Reynolds has multiple projects in his pipeline.
