Emilia Clarke Updates: Talented, easy-going, gorgeous, intelligent, these are just some of the words we can use to describe English actor Emilia Clarke. Known for her iconic role as Khaleesi in the popular series Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke has quickly become an international sensation.

If you thought she was done, the answer is no, she gave us back-to-back hits with her roles in the Terminator franchise and also starred and in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Due to this, people have now started calling her the franchise queen.

With such immense popularity, it really puts the spotlight on her and exposes her to several different incredible and talented professionals who can’t wait to work with her and that holds true even in the case of one of the biggest franchises in the world, the Marvel Cinematic Universe(MCU).

Nowadays almost every young budding actor dreams of working in a big-budget Marvel movie and become the superhero they always wanted to as a child. It wouldn’t have been any surprise for the Marvel franchise to welcome Emilia Clarke into their family and even offered her a role in the upcoming movie Secret Invasion.

Initially, Emilia Clarke was a little hesitant about taking the role, and hence she talked to her Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harrington (who is playing the role of Black Knight in Marvel’s upcoming movie The Eternals) for advice.

Harrington was very excited for her and told her to go for it and now Emilia is more ready than ever before to play the role of Abigail Brand, the head of S.W.O.R.D in the upcoming ‘Secret Invasion.

Clarke has stated that it took her so long to enter the MCU because she thought that she wasn’t good enough for the role and even that Marvel wouldn’t want her as she’s already starring in a huge franchise.

She even jokingly stated that she’s afraid that she would speak of something not to be spoken of and Marvel’s security team will get angry but now all that is in the past because she has already accepted the role and we can’t wait to watch her do her thing in the new movie.

As the film began shooting in April, Emilia added that this was one of the best experiences of her life and now she understands why so many people want to work with Marvel.
