Before Season 3, Solar Opposites Renewed For Season 4:

Solar Opposites Season 4, an adult animated sci-fi comedy series, has been officially renewed for season 4 on Hulu, ahead of its comeback for season 3 on the streaming service. The program, which was co-created by Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan, follows a bunch of aliens from the planet Shlorp as they crash land in middle America after their homeworld is destroyed. Roiland is the showrunner, as well as co-creator and executive producer.

With an extended break in production on Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty, Roiland and McMahan began creating the series for Fox before the network passed it up. However, 20th Television worked with the team to get it to Hulu, who purchased two eight-episode seasons right away. Solar Opposites earned excellent reviews from critics upon its release in 2020, and it quickly became the platform’s most-watched or downloaded show.

Hulu has officially renewed Solar Opposites for season 4 ahead of its season 3 launch, nearly three months after season 2 premiered. Rather than copying the Adult Swim hit’s structure or gags, he, McMahan, and co-showrunner and writer Josh Bycel have regularly created new and funny ideas

Solar Opposites has a big viewership that might quickly catch up to Roiland’s fellow series, despite not being as often talked on social media as Rick and Morty.
