Kanye West attends star-studded Balenciaga show in full face covering

Kanye West Updates: The Balenciaga Haute Couture Show, 2021 took place this Wednesday and Kanye West appeared in a wild face mask that covered his whole face.

The 44-year-old rapper sat in the front row during the show, wearing a full-coverage face mask. The face mask had a distinctive cat print. This was not the first time the rapper has been seen wearing a full-face covering mask.

The ski-mask style coverings have become a staple in the rapper’s wardrobe as he has been seen wearing a religious-themed version around Los Angeles.

Apart from the mask, West wore an ensemble of black hoodies and track pants along with gold jewelry. He teased the launch of his Yeezy Gap collaboration as he was seen sporting around jacket which was the first piece from the collection. West never leaves a chance at representing Yeezy and wore a pair of his label’s Yeezy Foam Runners.

Balenciaga came back to the Haute Couture runway after 53 years. The show marked the first Balenciaga Couture collection from creative director Demna Gvasalia.

The Georgian fashion designer has collaborated with West before for his Yeezy Season 1 collection. West remained his strong supporter and has been frequently seen wearing Gvasalia designed Vetements sweats.

The show was star-studded. James Harden, Lewis Hamilton, and Lil Baby, all made an appearance. Budding model Ella Emhoff, who happens to be Kamala Harris’ step-daughter, walked the ramp. Fashion fixtures like Anna Wintour and Edward Enninful were also present.

Bella Hadid was also seen at the Balenciaga Couture show, just a day after she appeared at the opening of the Cannes Film Festival.

However, West’s girlfriend Irina Shayk was absent from the show. The Russian model was seen wearing the Yeezy x Balenciaga DMX tribute tee back in April, and might just be waiting for her boyfriend’s next Balenciaga collaboration.
