Disappointed Among Us Player Loses To Five Impostors At Once

Among Us Updates: Due to an unfortunate hacking incident, an Among Us gamer recently lost to a group of five Impostors. The massively popular indie title was secretly launched in 2018 before gaining massive traction in 2020. Players must repair a spaceship while being pursued by a disguised Impostor in this cooperative social simulation game.

The massive popularity of Among Us in 2020 prompted developer Innersloth to resurrect support for the paranoia-inducing game. The game’s most recent major update included The Airship, a new level that replaces the game’s traditional spacecraft setting with an aircraft soaring over the skies.

The Airship brought with it a slew of new duties for the crew to perform while evading the suspicious and deadly impostor. Making a hamburger, washing towels, and putting away various weapons are examples of these tasks.

Clean Vents, a new job that will temporarily restrict Impostors from using their favored mode of transportation, will be included in a future release.

Unfortunately, during a round of Among Us, Reddit user mjmannella came across numerous hackers. In each round of the game, there are usually one to three Impostors, thus they always make up a small percentage of the overall number of participants in the lobby.

mjmannella, on the other hand, lost a match against a group of five Impostors, which is only conceivable if the Impostor players were cheating. This type of cheating significantly destabilises the game’s equilibrium and is unfair to all other players.

Last year, Fall Guys rapidly became a cultural phenomenon, permeating every stratum of popular culture. One of the game’s famous Impostors was recently spotted within a claw machine, implying that it has blended in with the toys around it.

Despite its debut over three years ago, the plush doll’s appearance among other celebrities demonstrates how popular the independent game has grown. Other indie games have been influenced by Among Us, with competitive platformer Fall Guys expected to receive a second Among Us-themed skin in the near future.

Fall Guys already had a skin of the social simulator game’s red crewmate, but the new skin will include a purple variation of the scary alien Impostor.
