Selena Gomez Is Back To Brunette And Stunned In Floral Prairie Dress On Instagram

Selena Gomez Updates: Selena Gomez launched Rare Beauty Global in an Instagram post yesterday, in which she disclosed that she had returned to brunette hair.

She also presented a new prairie dress with a floral design.

Gomez went blonde this spring, as she shared on Rare Beauty’s Instagram.

The transition was overseen by Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri, who has been styling the artist’s hair for over ten years.

“We wanted to make sure there was an equal mix of cool and warm for [Selena’s] skin tone, so this blonde is unique to her,” the duo told ELLE.com via email.

“It’s a more edgy style that’s ideal for summer.”

“She usually keeps it relatively natural,” they said, “but this time she went for a dramatic change.”

Gomez and her makeup artist, Hung Vanngo, collaborated on a makeover with the Rare Beauty line this week.

Vanngo utilized Gomez as a model to demonstrate how to turn a sunny day appearance into a night one with makeup.

She discussed how lupus can impact her skin and how cosmetics can aid her in those situations in the video

When Vanngo was applying foundation, she explained, “I have lupus, which is an autoimmune disease that prevents me from spending a lot of time in the sun.”

“When I break out, I get hives all over my body, so knowing my shades for when I’m a little bit paler and knowing my shades for when I get a spray tan or something outside, it’s actually really nice to have two different options of the foundation [a lighter option in the winter and a slightly darker option in the summer] is actually really nice.”
