‘Black Widow’ Star David Harbour Reveals About Suiting Up As A Superhero

David Harbour Updates: Black Widow is a forthcoming American superhero franchise based on the theme of Marvel Cinematic Universe with the same characters and David Harbour is suiting up for a superhero.

Black Widow isn’t David’s first superhero rodeo. Previously he played a role in the Hellboy reboot movie, but it was a total disaster. After getting criticizing reviews from the fans, David Harbour tried something innovative. Finally, he’s suiting up in a superhero costume for the 24th franchise of MCU, Black Widow.

The movie aims at the life story of Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff, and also featuring a new character Alexei Shostakov aka The Red Guardian. Just like earlier, Scarlett Johansson is playing the role of Black Widow, but MCU is featuring a new face for The Red Guardian and that is David Harbour.

In fact, David sees the bond of Natasha and Alexei as an initial point for portraying another single franchise on The Red Guardian.

In an exclusive interview with Insider, David talked about his new role as Alexei aka The Red Guardian, the father of Natasha Romanoff would badly need revenge for his daughter’s death.

He was indicating the incident where Hawkeye pushed her from a cliff in Avengers: Endgame franchise. But the actual truth is Natasha and Hawkeye were both about to jump from the cliff to obtain the Soul Stone.

But they both were fighting to save each other unless Natasha jumped on her own. But the story was represented to her father differently. David also mentioned how great he felt to wear such an iconic costume and he giggled for his excitement.

The Red Guardian character is totally comparing the contrast between his being superhero and he as Hellboy and the Red Guardian will open a new way to him for a future franchise of MCU.

As in Black Widow, he’s holding grudge against Hawkeye for killing his daughter and The Red Guardian is a Russian version of Captain America, he thinks that in the future an MCU story can be scripted like Red Guardian Vs. Captain America Origin Story. The story can be based on the creation of these two characters.

Black Widow has aired on 9th July 2021, and currently is streaming on Disney+. The story also involved The Red Guardian into Natasha’s story to provide exciting opportunities to David Harbour in the upcoming franchises on Marvel Cinematic Universe.
