It was also the time when she was in a relationship with Justin Bieber, who was a close friend of Tyler. Selena and Justin began dating in late 2010 and were on and off before finally going apart in 2018.

In a previous interview with Power 106 Los Angeles in 2013, Tyler revealed that he wasn’t friends with Gomez, “We don’t really get along. She doesn’t like me. We don’t like each other,” he said. “Because I’m kicking it with Justin — like that’s my homeboy. She always is mean muggin’ me. Like why are you hating on me?”

Speaking of the relationship, Justin Bieber recently opened up about it in an interview with Vogue Australia,

There have been no comments from Justin on Tyler’s apology to Selena. News has tried reaching Gomez’s representatives about the recent news, but a strict “no comment” policy was maintained.
