Nate Simpson Interview: Kerbal Space Program 2

Kerbal Space Program 2 Updates: Kerbal Space Program 2 is an upcoming video game. It is a space flight simulation video game. It is developed by Intercept Games. The video game is a sequel to 2015’s Kerbal Space Program. It will release in 2022.

Creative Director Nate Simpson did an interview with Screen Rant, where he spoke about the Kerbal Space Program 2. This video game is a sequel and will build on the original game with space-travel technologies, new mission modes, and the late-game ability to construct massive interstellar spacecraft and voyage to other stars.

Simpson talked about his love for the game, the hard work of his team towards building and strengthening the formulas established by the developers of the previous game, and about his vision to make the video game more accessible.

He also mentioned some details about the new gameplay mechanics Kerbal Space Program 2 will introduce. When asked what is his favorite real-life rocket ship, he said that it is not easy to say but in terms of pure capability it is hard not to be in love with the Saturn V.

When asked if he can give some hint as to how the ability to build truly interstellar starships that can travel to star systems light-years away will play out in the campaign mode, Simpson said that there is a colony building system and that includes colonies that can build in orbit.

One can build vehicles of relatively unbounded scale. There are various ways to go about interstellar exploration – one might send numerous missions without any crew that has multiple sub-probes to deploy once you have entered the sphere of influence of a new star.

Simpson has a bias towards more generalist multi-tool vehicle which is sort of a Star Trek thing, that is, to create a mothership that has a bunch of small general-purpose exploration craft attached to it and a huge amount of raw materials that one can use to do a lot of different things when one arrives at the destination.

The new game has definitely got the fans very excited. It has a lot of new features to explore. It definitely gives the feel of a space mission and will surely not be a disappointment to play. Fans have to wait a while before they can enjoy the game.
