Why The Suicide Squad Made Joel Kinnaman “Really Emotional”

Published by

Joel Kinnaman Updates: Joel Kinnaman, an iconic actor is playing the role of Rick Flag for the director James Gunn The Suicide Squad. He’s pretty nervous about his character in this franchise and recently he has revealed the reason for his nervousness.

The news of James Gunn taking over the sequel of The Suicide Squad franchise made Joel Kinnaman a bit timid and uneasy. Obviously, there are thousands of legit reasons for feeling that way and fortunately, none of those reasons are as close as what Kinnaman talked about.

The Suicide Squad features a lot of intense action scenes along with James Gunn’s humorous jokes. The fear of being a part of comedy scenes made Joel Kinnaman obnoxious.

Charles Joel Nordstrom Kinnaman, professionally known as Joel Kinnaman is a Swedish American actor who is best known for the most remarkable lead role in the Swedish film Easy Money. This role brought him the award of the “Best Actor”.

Previously he has been a part of a lot of films from various genres except the comedy genre. The story is made with James Gunn’s imaginative mind and he added some extra spice through his humorous state of mind.

The Suicide Squad consists of an equal amount of action and comedy. Kinnaman is recognized as one of the hardworking and successful actors and the character of Rick Flag a bit “off the league” role for him.

Recently in an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair, Kinnaman discussed his ethics and beliefs for further development of his career and skills. He is always up for exploring new adventures through challenging characters, keeping his ego far away from the career.

He also disclosed the lack of analysis and creativity in the first installment of The Suicide Squad. With the perfect training with his costars, he’s building his character smooth and perfect. Comedy becomes more powerful and heartening when it blends properly with the action scenes and reflects the imperfection of the scene or the character.

Kinnaman is not the most appropriate member for the humorous jokes of The Suicide Squad, but he’s definitely the hardworking and a supportive co-star and a person who eagers to improve himself.

With James Gunn’s hardcore humor, breathtaking actions, and a new animated character King Shark, The Suicide Squad is going to be one of the major hits. The Suicide Squad 2 is releasing in theaters and HBO Max on 6th August 2021.
