Pokémon Fan Creates Concepts For Missing Eevee Evolutions

Pokémon Updates: A Pokémon Fan and concept artist devised a variety of missing Eevee evolutions, including Dragon, Bug, and Flying kinds.

A Pokémon fan and concept artist have developed a variety of missing Eevee evolutions, including Bug, Flying, and Dragon-types. Eevee is one of the most popular Pokémon in the franchise, and it received its own named game in 2018 with Let’s Go Eevee! and Let’s Go Pikachu! over Psyduck.

Within the canon of the series, Eevee has many distinct evolutions, but there are many more varieties that the Normal-type Pokémon is presently unable to develop into.

Eevee debuted in Generation One, with three evolution types available: Vaporeon (Water-type), Flareon (Fire-type), and Jolteon (Electric-type). Espeon (Psychic-type), Umbreon (Dark-type), Leafeon (Grass-type), Glaceon (Ice-type), and Sylveon have all evolved from Eevee over the years (Fairy-type).

Trainers have uncovered a method for evolving your Pokémon GO Eevee in the Niantic mobile application, allowing players to obtain their preferred variant. While Eevee has a plethora of evolutions, Nintendo has the option of adding more to the canon.

RJ Palmer, a concept artist, has earned appreciation on Twitter for his interpretation of Eevee’s potential evolutions. Griffon (Flying-type), Dragon (Dragon-type), and Bumble are among the creator’s beautiful drawings for the missing evolutions (Bug-type). The artist even suggests Abilities for Griffon, Dragon, and Bumble, such as “Aerilate” for Griffon, “Multiscale” for Dragon, and “Skill Link” for Bumble. Palmer also made his own Eeveelution, picturing what a Garfield and Eevee Pokémon could look like.

Garden is a “Lasagna Cat” Pokémon with the Ability “Hates Mondays” and even has a Shiny version. Though the Pokémon evolution procedures for his creations are unknown, the designs are stunning and wouldn’t seem out of place in the Pokémon universe.

The Pokémon evolutions aren’t Palmer’s first foray into the Nintendo property. Palmer’s past works include a highly realistic Blastoise and a painting depicting the growth of a Charmander and his trainer, both of which are available for purchase through the artist’s web store.

The artist’s renderings of missing Eevee evolutions have gone viral on Twitter, and while it’s unclear whether Nintendo will ever add more Eeveelutions to the games, it’s hoped that they will.

The Pokémon Company is commemorating its 25th anniversary this year with a slew of events and marketing.

A new series of TCG cards has been unveiled to coincide with the impending release of the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shiny Pearl. Pokémon Trading Card Game: Celebrations will be released later this year and will contain remakes of classic series cards, such as the rare Base Set Charizard Pokémon card.
