FF7 Remake Honey Bee Inn Scene Almost Included Pole Dancing

Published by

FF7 Remake Updates: A behind-the-scenes look at the FF7 Remake’s Honey Bee Inn episode shows that pole dancing was planned for one of the sequences.

According to new Square Enix information, the Honey Bee Inn scenario in Final Fantasy VII Remake almost contained pole dancing in its dance-off portion.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake changed a lot of the original game, not just with the addition of the ghost-like Whispers, but also in how combat works and by giving players more time to get to know the title’s secondary characters, and the new Honeybee Inn is widely regarded as one of the remake’s most iconic locations.

The Honey Bee Inn was a significant landmark in the original Final Fantasy 7, but the place was enhanced in the FF7 Remake with a rhythm-based dance-off.

It’s unlike any of the games that came before it, but it makes the location more memorable as a consequence, and it’s just one of the several modifications FF7 Remake makes to the original Final Fantasy 7’s storyline and gameplay to make it more accessible to current audiences.

Toriyama explains that the team commissioned professional dancers to assist with the choreography of the game’s Honey Bee Inn section and that the segment underwent numerous corrections during the recording process.

One of the numerous modifications made to the FF7 Remake’s Honey Bee Inn was the removal of a “pole dancing sequence” from the section. The crew finally deleted the pole dancing sequence from Final Fantasy 7 Remake “because of the influence on the rating,” suggesting that the content might have elevated the game over and above the teen ESRB rating.

It is still uncertain when Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 will be released. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade was released for the PS5 this year, an improved version of the game that included additional story DLC featuring returning character Yuffie.

Due to the events of Final Fantasy 7 Remake’s plot, especially in relation to both that game’s original ending and the new one presented in FF7R Episode InterMISSION, the story continuing forward appears to be able to go in any way compared to the original Final Fantasy 7.

Whatever part 2 of Final Fantasy 7 Remake has in store, the story and gameplay will most certainly continue to astound in the same manner that the Honey Bee Inn continues to wow many gamers.
