Rick & Morty Season 5: New Character Mocks An MCU Villain

Published by

Rick & Morty Season 5 Updates: Rick & Morty Season 5 has recently launched a sea-based curse opponent that mocks a classic MCU character from Marvel Comics.

The premiere of Rick & Morty Season 5 introduces a nemesis from the sea who ridicules an upcoming MCU villain. The creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon adopted a few parts from the Marvel Comics Universe and entertained the fans with pop culture.

He dedicated an entire episode from season 4 of Rick & Morty on the Avengers from the Marvel cinematic universe and it surely defines the new path for the merging Rick & Morty and Marvel Universe. And by introducing the sea-based nemesis Mr. Nimbus in the new season, the director surely proved his point of the merging.

Rick & Morty is an adult animated sitcom, filled with science fiction, black comedy, and adventure. This series follows up the story of cynical mad scientist Rick and his good-hearted but impatient grandson Morty, both involved in the domestic world as well as in the interdimensional adventures.

In season 5, episode 1, Rick & Morty franchise launches Rick’s ultimate rival Mr. Nimbus, who is the humanoid ruler of the sea. When Rick’s spacecraft crashes into the ocean, he and the self-honored “King of the Ocean” involve in conversation over beignets and wine and shared a long history.

Mr. Nimbus is a character from season 5 episode Mort Dinner Rick Andre, the king of Ocean, whose power lies in making the land wet and controlling the police.

Rick & Morty Season 5: New Character

ScreenRant

The characterization is quite familiar to a classic Marvel Comics character Namor the Sub-Mariner, appearing in the upcoming franchise of Marvel Universe Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever. Unlike DC Aquaman, Mr. Nimbus is a skinny, pretentious, and horny ocean king like Namor from Marvel Comics who is an over-sexualized character, with fish-like appearances.

With Mr. Nimbus’s charming costume and lip-biting habit, the character is definitely ridiculing the MCU character Namor the Sub-Mariner.

Namor is not a part of Marvel movies yet, but it’s expected to see him in the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever franchise. If he appears as the antagonist, it’d be exhilarating for the fans with his charming hot boy character with villainous thoughts.

The new season of Rick & Morty has premiered on June 20, 2021, on Adult Swim. All the predecessor seasons of Rick & Morty are available on Netflix.
