In The Originals spin-off Legacies, the main character Hope Mikaelson is a powerful person, but why she is unable to use such vampire powers yet is a big question. Legacies, aired in 2018, is the second spin-off of The Originals and features characters from the enormously popular CW network hit The Vampire Diaries.
Legacies follow the story of Hope Mikaelson, daughter of Klaus Mikelson and Hayley Mikelson. Hope is from the most powerful vampire, werewolf, and also witch bloodlines. The series started with a group of supernaturally powered students who are visiting Salvatore School For The Young ad Gifted to learn the ability to control their superpowers.
Legacies Season 3 Hope’s Vampire Powers
ScreenRantHope’s real power is not clear yet, even at the end of the third season. Hope is actually from a triple hybrid bloodline, but she hasn’t accessed any vampire abilities yet. But, Legacies has pointed out lore about vampires elaborately, where vampires cannot be undead, and to use the abilities of vampires, one has to die.
More humorous series than The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, Legacies feature “death” more casually than ever and didn’t kill Hope for once. That’s the main reason for the inaccessibility of her in-born vampire powers.
In the second season of Legacies, Hope actually forgot her own existence but didn’t die for sure. And referring to the lore of vampires, they are immortal and a person who is alive cannot have their abilities at all. So, she won’t be able to access the power as long as she is alive.
Referring to season 3, episode 14, it doesn’t seem like Hope is going to die soon to avail the vampire superpower. But there is a slight possibility of killing off Hope for making the TV series doubly excited.
The vampire powers of Hope will surely change the dynamics of the Legacies franchise and a small twist on the forthcoming episodes is highly expected and going to make the audience crazy. Season 3 can be the direction for Hope to attain her vampire powers.
