Toy Story 3 Final Scene Recreated In Real Life

Toy Story 3 Updates: Toy Story 3 final heartwarming scene was recreated by a college graduate for his graduation sendoff. Starting the Toy Story franchise in 1995, the original feel-good animated movie was one of the highest-grossing that year.

Since then, the brand has perfected its franchise line of movies with the sequel coming in 1999. Toy Story 3 took a good long wait for fans, releasing it in 2010, but it was worth it.

Toy Story 3 provided a perfect ending to the story of Andy and his living(not to his knowledge) toys who do everything possible to make him happy. The movie winds up with Andy leaving for college and giving away his old and loyal toys.

Things don’t go as planned and Woody, Buzz, and the gang find themselves in the trash only to end up at a horrific daycare with an evil teddy bear, Lotso. The movie goes through their journey as they find their way back to Andy, who plays with them one final time before giving his toys away to a new home.

The climax comes to a tear-jerking end as his toys come to life to see him walk away and Woody exclaiming, “So long, partner”.

Upworthy

A certain Twitter user @jojo_xcviii, Josiah Robles, shared his recreation of the final Toy Story 3 scene. His post shows him walking down a sidewalk with all the Toy Story characters standing behind seeing him go away.

He even recreated Woody’s final words, captioning the post as, “So long somerset”. The post really garnered a lot of attention, thanks to how well it reminded fans of the last emotional sendoff from Toy Story 3.

While it certainly looked like a farewell, Pixar decided to churn up one more Toy Story 4 in 2019. Luckily the movie seemed to be an even better ending to the stories of the Toy Story characters.

As of now, it’s least likely that Pixar will come up with another movie from its successful franchise. But they aren’t letting go of their characters anytime soon too. The studios are coming up with a spinoff, Lightyear, based on the human character on which the Toy Story Buzz Lightyear is based.

Though Pixar has been successful with Toy Story 4, the emotional ending to Toy Story three remains one of the most iconic moments, if not most.
