Marvel Studios Lady Loki First Character Poster to Welcome Her to the MCU

Lady Loki, who was revealed as a variant in the 2nd episode of Loki, got an official welcome into the MCU with a character poster.

The latest episode of Loki unveiled the variant God of Mischief that the Time Variance Authority is hunting.

The plot of Disney+’s Loki follows the God of Mischief after he escapes with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. He was then arrested by the Time Variance Authority who gave him the choice to help them with a dangerous variant or be deleted from reality. In the second episode, we saw Loki helping the Time Variance Authority in hunting down the variant. At the end of the episode, the variant was unveiled as Lady Loki who plans on bombing the sacred timeline.

Marvel Studios recently revealed a character poster for Lady Loki officially welcoming the character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The audience got a good look at Lady Loki with this picture, including the costume and the similarity it bears with the Loki that the audience knows and loves so well.

In a recent interview, Tom Hiddleston offered a description of Lady Loki and Sofia Di Martino’s portrayal of her. He said that Martino’s Lady Loki has certain characteristics that are familiar to his Loki, like, mischief, playfulness, a little bit of inferior fragmentation, and some broken emotions in there. He went on to praise Martino saying that she is very committed and has done so much research on the character and has made it her own.

In the last episode, we saw Loki following Lady Loki through a time portal. It will be interesting to watch the dynamic between the two in future episodes as they are both intrigued by each other and are similar in so many ways. It also remains to be seen as to what would be the consequences of Loki’s betrayal of the TVA.

Loki’s cast includes Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Sophia Di Martino, Richard E. Grant, Sasha Lane, and Eugene Cordero. New episodes release every Wednesday on Disney+.
