Release date, trailer, newcomers to the cast … here’s all that we already know about the rest of the series with Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Darren Barnet, or Jaren Lewison.

Towards the end of the very first confinement, Devi Vishwakumar made us smile again with season 1 of Never Have I Ever. The pitch? Determined to lose her virginity, the teenager tried to seduce the high school stepson, Paxton (Darren Barnet) … and got closer to his “enemy”, Ben (Jaren Lewison). At the end of Season 1, Devi seemed to have made up her mind as she ignored a call from Paxton and kissed Ben.

What is the release date for Never Have I Ever Season 2?

We won’t have to wait very long to discover Never Have I Ever Season 2. Netflix has already announced the release date of the episodes: see you on July 15 to discover the rest of the series created by Mindy Kaling.

The trailer unveiled

New to the casting

But Devi’s life will be doubly complicated by the arrival of a brand new high school student. It is Megan Suri who joins the cast in the role of Aneesa, a young Indian who will quickly intimidate Devi. And she’s not the only news in the series. Rapper Common also lands in Never Have I Ever Season 2 as Dr. Chris Jackson, a dermatologist rival to Nalini (Poona Jagannathan), Devi’s mother. Rival and not that since there could be a rapprochement between them …

Who will be the narrator in Season 2?

The specificity of Never Have I Ever was having a narrator who in Season 1 was tennis player John McEnroe. In season 2, it was Chrissy Teigen, the wife of John Legend, who was to be the narrator but the latter dropped her role after being linked to a cyberstalking case. We do not know for the moment who will lend his voice for the rest of the series.
