Loki Episode 4 Updates: In episode 2 of Loki, Revonna Renslayer mentions that Agent Mobius isn’t TVA’s only time analyst. It has given rise to some speculations on who the second-time analyst could be.
In the latest episode of Loki, when Agent Mobius visits Judge Revonna Renslayer’s office it is revealed that he is not the only-time analyst working for her. This means that Agent Mobius is not the only one tasked with tracking down dangerous variants who violate the sacred TimeLine.
The identity of this mysterious time analyst was not revealed in the episode but it has given prospects for speculations on who they might be and how they will affect the future episodes of Loki’s adventures through the timeline.
Marvel Studios Loki premiered on 9th June on Disney+. The show follows the storyline of The God of Mischief after he escapes with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. In the first episode of the show, Loki is arrested for causing damage to the sacred timeline by the Time Variance Authority.
When he is produced for his trial before Judge Renslayer, Agent Mobius intercedes on Loki’s behalf. In return for his life, Loki is asked to help Agent Mobius track down another variant Loki who has been causing all sorts of mayhem in the MCU timeline.
In episode 2, Mobius and Loki are seen working together. Initially, Loki tries to con Agent Mobius because of which their first mission together does not end up well. This leads to Mobius having a meeting in Renslayer’s office.
Loki Episode 4 Second Analyst?
ScreenRantIt is in this meeting when Judge Renslayer mentions that Mobius is not the only time analyst she has working for her. Mobius appears not to know of this other analyst. Judging by the trophies adorning Revonna’s shelves, Mobius concludes that the other analyst must be quite effective and capable.
There have been some interesting speculations on who this mysterious time analyst could be. There is an exciting possibility that it is a version of time-traveling Kang the Conquerer. A version of Kang before he becomes a villain.
According to the Marvel comics, Renslayer and Kang share a romantic connection. Therefore, there is a possibility that this mysterious time analyst is an early version of Kang.
Another possibility that has been speculated is that the other analyst is a actually a variant of Mobius himself, pulled from a branch of the timeline, just like Loki, while either Mobius is oblivious to the existence of the other. It is seen as a possibility because when Mobius sets down his drink, he is rebuked by Revonna for not using a coaster.
He defends himself by saying that there already were water rings on the table, to which Revonna counters that they all came from him over time. It could point to the existence of a variant Mobius who also is as careless as him.
The identity of the mysterious analyst is bound to be revealed soon as they could play a role in bringing back Loki who was last seen following Lady Loki through a time portal.
