“You” follows the story of Joe Golberg who works as a bookstore manager in new york. It’s where he meets Guinevere beck who is an inspiring author. Joe, at first glance, becomes attracted to her and starts stalking her everywhere.

His love for Guinevere makes him feel like she is a defenseless girl in this big city and it is his duty to protect her. This toxic obsession makes him do horrible things for her and this is what “you” is about

In the second season of “you,” Joe moves to Los Angeles from new york to escape his past life of new york. Joe starts off with a new identity here and meets a new girl named Love Quinn.

Joe once again starts following his old pattern of violence and obsession. Joe wants to make his relationship with Love at any cost while avoiding the details from his past life.
