The Last Kingdom Season 5 Updates: An American historical fiction series, The Last Kingdom, premiered on BBC Two. The British series was aired in 2015 on BBC Two. Later, in the year 2018 Netflix launched the whole series on its platform globally. It has an 8.4 rating on IMDb and 91% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Season 1 was first aired on 10 October and last aired on 28 November 2015 on BBC Two. It has 8 episodes. Season 2 was aired on 16 March 2017 and the last episode aired on 4 May 2017. It also has 8 episodes and was released on BBC Two.

The third and fourth season of The Last Kingdom was released on Netflix and both seasons have 10 episodes. The third season was aired on 19 November 2018 and the fourth season was aired on 26 April 2020.

After a year, Netflix has announced its fifth season. But the official trailer has not been released yet. But it is surely coming late this year or early 2022. For the global pandemic, the fifth season will come a bit late. It also will contain 10 episodes.
