At the beginning of the trailer Picard is seen walking around in the vinyard of his home in France, calling for his assistant Laris. When his calls go unanswered, Picard looks visibly concerned as he know something is wrong even if everything looks fine.

This points out to the disjoint in time that suggests the involvement of time travel, something that has been hinted at in the previous trailer as well.

This trailer finally provides a look at the return of Q. Q’s return was confirmed in the first trailer but the latest one gives the audience a look at him. He appears to Picard in his moment of crisis at the vinyard calling him “Mon Captaine”. Q is clearly back to his old ways.

Most of the main cast from season 1 will return. The characters of Elnor, Raffi Musiker, Laris, Soji Asha, Agnes Jurati, Cristóbal Rios, and Seven of Nine are all featured in the trailer, with most of them getting their own shots.

With the season 2 revolving around time travel and John de Lancie returning as Q, it will be a very exciting watch. Although, there hasn’t been an official date for the release of season 2, the trailer stated that it will come out in 2022.
