Gossip Girl Reboot Trailer: Nine years after the end of the original series, “Gossip Girl” will be back this summer on HBO Max, then in France on Warner TV, in the form of a reboot centered on a new generation of high school students. Check out the first sexy and intriguing images.
Expected from July 8 in the United States on HBO Max, and in the coming months in France on Warner TV, the reboot of Gossip Girl is finally revealed through a first real trailer punctuated by a remix of “Super Rich Kids “from Frank Ocean who reveals a little more about the plot of this new version. And like the original series, manipulations, secrets, and rather hot scenes seem to be on the program!

Created by Joshua Safran ( Quantico ), who notably oversaw seasons 4 and 5 of the first version with Blake Lively and Leighton Meester, this Gossip Girl reboot begins when Zoya Lott ( Whitney Peak ), sort of “new Jenny Humphrey”, lands at Constance Billard, New York’s elite-only private high school, and becomes part of the school’s most popular and influential group of teenagers. Before falling in love with Obie ( Eli Brown ), yet already in a relationship.

As per Town and Country Mag, A love triangle that will obviously be only one among many and which will quickly arouse the interest of Gossip Girl, the anonymous blogger who had disappeared from circulation in 2012, after the events of the finale of the original series, and which will resurface with a new 2.0 weapon: an Instagram account which intends to reveal all the secrets of the heroes. Even if it means exploding their lives in the process.
Also worn by Thomas Doherty ( Legacies ), Emily Alyn Lind ( Revenge ), Jordan Alexander, Evan Mock, Tavi Gevinson, Zion Moreno, and Savannah Smith, who camp the new generation of high school students of Gossip Girl, this reboot will also see Kristen Bell lend again her voice to the omniscient blogger who lends her name to the series.

Announced as more inclusive by Joshua Safran, Gossip Girl version 2021 should also be marked by a huge twist that will reshuffle the plot cards and which could well be teased in this trailer since the voice-over of Gossip Girl Reboot declares: “The students who reign over Constance Billard are hiding a big secret”. But one thing is certain: with its multiple love stories and threesomes, Gossip Girl seems to want to prove to Elite, who will return to Netflix on June 18 for a season 4, that she has not invented anything in terms of sexy and sulfurous. Summer promises to be hot on the small screen.
