Among Us Updates: Now another new color is coming to Among Us real soon. Developer InnerSloth is adding Tan to its game’s selection of crewmate colors.
Instead of rather a typical announcement, the social deception title’s creators revealed the new look in a clip. The clip looked reminiscent of the Super Smash Bros. series. Among Us has a similar theme, as it is centered around secretly and violently picking off fellow players one by one. And so this announcement fits in with this game.
Tan skin is now the latest color to join this crew. InnerSloth has been rolling out new colors in Among Us over the past month. The first of these was Rose.
This color falls somewhere between pink and white and was introduced to fans on May 20. The developers promised that even more colors would be coming for the players to select from.
InnerSloth has suggested fans keep a close eye on June 10, where there could be a new color introduced. On May 26, not even a full week after the last color was announced, the Among Us team showed off a Gray crewmate.
Among Us: Tan As Next Crewmate
The Queen’s JournalThe hue of Among Us’ Super Smash Bros. inspired announcement today was slightly off-color though. This Tan crewmate appears in a sudden flurry of action as a new enemy mate ready to kick other crewmates out of the spaceship.
After the formula for the Super Smash Bros. character reveals, the new tan character then gets a line of introduction for himself. While we find that tan is the subject of the most recent announcement, it turns out that the new crewmate’s shade has a long history with the game. The developers even provide fans with a link in the reveal thread to the Among Us wiki to learn about the story.
Tan will now officially make its debut in the upcoming 15-player update of the game. Though the developers at InnerSloth have not yet revealed the launch date of the same.
The developers have told fans to keep an eye on all the information that is given from the social media handles. There might be a big reveal that takes place during the June 10 Summer Game Fest presentation.
