Never Have I Ever Season 2: Chrissy Teigen Exits Netflix’s Series Due to Online Bullying Controversy

Never Have I Ever Season 2 Updates: Chrissy Teigen, an American model, and TV personality, has appeared as a guest voice in the Netflix comedy ‘Never Have I Ever,’ following reports that she allegedly engaged in online bullying against model Courtney Stodden.

According to a program spokesman, Teigen opted to leave the part, which would have happened in one episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Teigen backed out of a scheduled voice part in one episode of Mindy Kaling’s upcoming second season of the Netflix coming-of-age comedy.

Guest performers provide voice-over narration for significant characters in the series. According to a program representative, the character will be replaced. ‘Never Have I Ever’ follows a first-generation Indian American adolescent girl navigating high school while grieving the loss of her father.

The previous season included voiceover narration for Maitreyi Ramakrishnan’s character Devi by tennis legend John McEnroe. Stodden stated in an interview with Daily Beast that Teigen tormented them online a decade ago when Stodden married actor Doug Hutchison when they were 16 and he was 60.

Teigen offered a public apology on May 12. Stodden stated that Teigen texted them with harsh remarks like “I can’t wait for you to die.” Teigen openly apologized to Stodden in a long Twitter statement.

“Not many people are fortunate enough to be held accountable for all of their previous blunders in front of the entire world. I’m ashamed and saddened by who I used to be. I was a self-conscious, attention-seeking troll “Teigen stated in her essay.

The model, who has 13.5 million Twitter followers and 34.9 million Instagram followers, has not tweeted since her three-part apology on May 12. Her most recent Instagram post, which was made on May 11, included a page from one of her cookbooks.

‘Never Have I Ever is a Universal Television production. Mindy Kaling co-created the program with Lang Fisher, who also serves as executive producer and showrunner. Kaling also acts as an executive producer alongside Howard Klein and David Miner of 3 Arts Entertainment.
