Fortnite Season 7 Updates: Battle Royale Fortnite may soon see a new change. The addition of a new skin, called as Loki may happen very soon. This new feature has been officially teased, and might feature in Chapter 2, Season 7.
Developer Epic Games, has released a new image that gives an idea about the new inclusion. It shows off some new things, but the silhouette of Loki, the new skin, suggests that the trickster is joining Fortnite.
There was a recent leak that came out of an Epic Games survey, and it showed off dozens of original Fortnite skins. Though officially, the brand has kept the info.
About future guest characters hidden. Epic Games has had a long history of landing a lot of high-profile of IP, to be used as character skins and more. Master Chief, Kratos and the Mandalorian were some of them.
Most of the times, these skins are used to promote some ongoing or upcoming projects which would have these characters involved, obviously.
A new piece of official art for a Fortnite loading screen has been released recently. It has been released to the Fortnite crew players, and they show a heavily armored Cuddle Team Leader joining the battle. There can be the outline of this new character Loki seen in the background. The iconic Chitauri Scepter is also present alongside.
Most probably, this time it will tie in with the upcoming Loki TV series on Disney+. The trickster god would be seen hopping between various dimensions and universes. If you are someone who has an interest in such content, do watch the series, The show is scheduled to premiere its first episode on the 9th of June.
There’s no information about whether this Loki would be sold as a part of the game’s battle pass, or if it would be sold separately. Fans would be really excited to try it out.
While this is an interesting inclusion in the game, it is not the first time Epic Games has done this. Previously, in the lead-up to Avengers: Endgame’s premiere, there was an event held where fans could play as the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against Thanos. These events surely attract publicity and engagement.
