NCIS New Orleans Season 7 Updates: Created by Gary Glasberg, NCIS New Orleans is an American crime drama and police procedural television series that premiered on CBS on September 23, 2014, following the twelfth season of NCIS.

NCIS NOLA won’t be returning for a season eight as CBS declared recently that the arrangement would be dropped. Specialist Dwayne Pride (played by Scott Bakula) and the remainder of his group are done going to be on our screens as fans bid farewell to them for good.

The series hasn’t been on for as long as a couple of weeks however so fans are asking when will the series return with the final episodes to finish off the series.

New Orleans will return with episode 13, this weekend, on Sunday, May 2 on CBS.

NCIS: New Orleans follows a fictional group of Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) specialists positioned out of New Orleans.

Working under the oversight of Pride and Khoury are Christopher LaSalle (Lucas Black), a previous Jefferson Parish sheriff’s representative enrolled by Pride following Hurricane Katrina; Meredith Brody (Zoe McLellan), an exchange from the NCIS Great Lakes field office, who has functioned as a Special Agent Afloat and is quick to leave her past behind as she moves to New Orleans; Sonja Percy (Shalita Grant), a previous ATF specialist and LaSalle’s accomplice who in the end leaves to join the FBI.

Tammy Gregorio (Vanessa Ferlito), an FBI wonder selected after a short spell examining Pride; and famously against social Quentin Carter (Charles Michael Davis), a fixer with standing for working alone. Balancing the group are JAG Commander Rita Devereaux (Chelsea Field), Pride’s long-lasting sweetheart and a prepared lawyer; Dr. Loretta Wade (CCH Pounder), the coroner for Jefferson Parish; Sebastian Lund (Rob Kerkovich), a legal sciences expert who helps Wade and later turns into an NCIS specialist; and Patton Plame (Daryl Mitchell), a PC trained professional.
