Dying Light 2 Has Twice The Parkour Moves Than The Original Game

Published by

Dying Light 2 Updates: Developer Techland of the game Dying Light 2 revealed that this game would feature twice as many Parkour moves as the first game.

The first Dying Light was released back in 2015.  Basically, these are survival horror titles where players have to battle zombies using various weapons. They also have the option to flee from the horde using advanced parkour maneuvers. The game was praised especially for its gameplay and multiplayer component. It also had an immersive day-night cycle which affects the zombie behavior.

The talk around the Dying Light 2 started as the developer released a teaser trailer. This trailer fully revealed the game. The game was teased on the 27th of May in a Livestream in which the developers were themselves there.

Dying Light 2 Has Twice The Parkour Moves Than The Original Game

The brief trailer showed a brick wall, but when the day quickly turns to night the sounds of a zombie horde can be heard.

During this Livestream that happened, Techland also revealed that the game will double the number of parkour moves that were initially present in the first iteration. The game’s large open world can be navigated using various movements, including wall runs and swings. There are also over 3,000 parkour animations this time in the game. Parkour moves have been an identity for this game. The special moves, the speed of the movements, have made it special. And seeing the number of moves double would please fans for sure.

In the gameplay that was shown during the Livestream, the player character can be seen sliding down the rooftops and dropping from one crane to another almost effortlessly. Additionally, Techland has promised that they would show even more parkour moves in upcoming live streams. So you might want to watch out for the live streams that take place.

The second season is coming soon, and fans are quite excited to know about it. But for your information, the game’s predecessor would also be receiving a rerelease very soon. Dying Light Platinum Edition was recently leaked onto the Microsoft Store, giving players some hint of what they might see in the rereleased version. This Platinum edition is expected to be released on the 27th of May.

Dying Light 2 looks like a considerable upgrade over the last iteration. The additional parkour moves, the new combat and movements, and the overall game experience also seem to be improved. We’ll have to wait for the launch, and then fans would be able to enjoy this title.
