Still, there is not much confirmed about the new title, when asked about the variety of differences, the lead game designer explained that Dying Light 2 will have two modes, one which has access to all players regardless of the skill, and the other will provide some serious challenges, although it’s unclear how the players will be able to access this difficult mode and this will surely prove to be a challenge for the designers.

There many details and information floating online about the Dying Light 2 as the game is edging closer to its release. But for most the gamers, December 7th launch date will seem like an eternity.

The game is expected to feature plenty of additional mechanics which weren’t part of the first game, as well as the brand new challenge for adventure-seeking players in the post-apocalyptic world of Dying Light.

SegmentNext was the one who reported this via an interview with Tymon Smektala by AussieGG revealed that the game will be coming out with a variety of difficulty settings.

According to the lead game designer, there will be a starting default difficulty that will be set for all the players, which will give players of all skill sets the ability to access much of what the game has to offer. However, those who are more adventurous and like to challenge themselves could try the Nightrunner difficulty.

The Nightrunner difficulty setting will remove aspects of HUD and make it harder for players to heal themselves. This will be quite a task for veterans of Daylight.

Though it isn’t quite a survival mode, in which there is a single shot and no life-saving option, the Nighrunner mode will sure be hard to beat, it is specially designed for players who have finished the original game, and are now turning towards the game with bags of experience. Although players will have to wait to try their hands on this mode until December.
