The Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable is a powerful hybrid business laptop for those who are looking for smooth and seamless performance. Though being touted as a good competitor to Surface Pro, the ThinkPad X12 Detachable comes with flaws of its own. The entry-level configuration model is quite affordable, but if want a better-performing laptop with a decent specification you will need to chip in a bit more from your pocket. Review of Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable Tablet:

The Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable is a 2-in-1 laptop for the professionals who prefer a tablet to run the programs of a laptop along with its features. Justifying its name the ThinkPad X12 Detachable is a performance and business functioning hybrid but the detachable, portfolio-style keyboard makes it clear that it is directly challenging the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 and Surface Pro 7+.

The ThinkPad X12 does well going up against the Microsoft Surface 7 especially considering the limitation of the form factor. The X12 Detachable beats the performance expectation, which is relatively high considering that it’s only a 12.3- inch tablet with a magnetic, 8 – pin connected keyboard. The battery life is decent at this price range but make sure you have the charger in handy when in need. It uses the USB Type – C port charging but unfortunately, it’s not a Thunderbolt port. But with this limited form factor, does sacrifice an amount of quality that is missing in the laptop. The speakers being one of the reasons for it, placed on the side of the panel they are just normal speakers with normal functionality nothing out of normal. The webcam is another addition to this list, though it may not be the most sophisticated of cameras it does the job of conferencing and recording well enough.

The ThinkPad X12 Detachable is made using lightweight materials, and the quality of display, level of performance this hybrid laptop does offer a good deal starting with its entry-level models, but do note that if you want a configuration solid- enough to perform well you will need to spend a bit more out of your pocket, this is definitely meant for business users and if you are one of them the Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable is worth considering.
